19TH CENTURY PASTE SINGLE STONE EARRINGS
A lovely pair of 19th century single stone paste earrings. Circa 1830/40; The faceted paste stones are lovely and bright, the stones have high crowns that catch the light fantastically. The stones are set in a traditional silver cut down foiled setting, with closed backs. Likely converted from buttons or cufflinks, the earrings have been set with 9ct gold shepherds hook wires.
