In this hands-on morning workshop, we invite you to explore nerikomi, a thoughtful ceramic technique where color and pattern become part of the clay itself — not painted on, but woven into the material. You’ll start by creating a plate base and then work with black, red, and white clay to build patterns, shapes, or simple visuals directly into the surface. With gentle guidance, you’ll roll and compress the pieces so they attach beautifully and the design flows through the clay. Clay becomes more than material here — it becomes canvas, pattern, and story. 🍙 A 15-minute snack break with onigiri included — a moment to pause, share, and enjoy the morning together. This workshop is friends- and family-friendly, perfect for anyone curious about clay, design, and mindful making. No prior pottery experience is needed. 🌿 All materials and studio firing are included. Finished plates are ready for pickup after firing.
