Lady of the Sunshine 2025 White Wine ‘Chevey’

Tech Variety: 65% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Chardonnay Location: SLO Coast Alcohol: 12% Tasting Notes This wine is inspired by the traditional white blend of the Cheverny region within the Loire Valley in France where Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay are classically blended together. Notes of white flowers, coconut meringue, & lemon zest. Winemaking Grapes were harvested in over 4 different picks and fermented separately, then foot tread to soak on skins before being whole bunch pressed the next morning. The juice was collected from the press pan and transferred to old French oak barrels and fermented with native yeast and bacteria. The wine aged on lees for 7 months and then it was racked for the first time to blend + bottle without fining or filtration. Minimal sulfur was used at bottling to capture the energy of the wine. Vineyard Bassi Vineyard is Demeter Certified Biodynamic, while Rancho Arroyo Grande is a practicing organic vineyard with sandy rolling hills that nestle against the Los Padres National Forest in the southern part of the SLO Coast AVA.
