"Normal Green" from Nepal's Tinjure Cooperative
While the name of this tea makes it potentially sound rather plain, it's actually quite a lovely and addictive green tea. Organically grown and produced by the oldest cooperatively owned tea factory in Nepal, Tinjure, the aromas of the leaves captivate even when dry. Nutty, toasty, vegetal, and a wee dash of summer fruit. Medium bodied with some presence but by no means robust or brash, this really is a great quality green tea that could easily be enjoyed everyday. It's quite satisfying. Tinjure Cooperative is in the Ilam region of eastern Nepal, in the "hills." Their gardens grow at roughly 1700 to 2000 meters and are organically certified. Spring 2026 harvest
