25 - Silk Ilkal w. Kasuti 36" Fabric

A combination of tradition and luxury, KaleNele’s 100% pure mulberry silk Ilkal fabric with gorgeously done Kasuti hand embroidery is a treasure to own. Yarn dyed in Ilkal, handwoven on the pitloom in the villages of Guledgudda, Kamatgi, and Shirur, makes our base fabric. This travels to our Kasuti cluster in Dharwad where women who have tirelessly trained to perfect this unique embroidery form perform Kasuti meter by meter. With a broad border along the length of one side and a slimmer border on the other, this elegant yardage can be designed and used as one would please, all upto the wearer’s imagination! They have been designed to pair beautifully with any saree with rich Indian jewel tones such as our Ilkal and Khunn sarees in pure mulberry silk.
