This is an exquisite vintage Japanese musical jewellery box, circa 1960s with a glossy brown lacquered finish and beautiful hand-painted Japanese landscape scenes, inlcuding Mount Fugi and inlaid with abalone shell. The internal compartments are in wonderful condition with an internal mirror too. Please see all images for details. It also has a little key. The wind up musical element works very well too.
