An additional inscription was also added, carefully matched to the existing style and layout of the memorial. The grave surround was fully refurbished with the addition of fresh concrete foundations, ensuring long-term durability and stability. The centre of the plot was then completed with new grey granite chippings, creating a neat, low-maintenance and elegant finish that complements the restored limestone beautifully.
