1-Day Raku Firing - Pottery Workshop in Newquay

** OPEN ACCESS STUDENTS ONLY ** We are finally offering a 1-Day Raku Firing Day for our wonderful Open Access Students only (at this moment in time). We will kick off the day from 10am at the Studio and will aim to complete 5 firings with all work ready to take home the same day! You can make and bring up to 5 Pots (thrown or hand made) no more than 15cm tall and 10cm across (1 pint size) made from either Raku Clay (Ashraf Hanah) or our house clay, 3 to be glazed and 2 to be burnished for Naked Raku. Please bring along with you anything you would like to use in the Naked Raku i.e. Feathers, Hair or any other organic materials which hold some oil would best. Bring lunch, mucky clothing, beers, tea, snacks and lots of energy and an open mind to what results you can get! Firing schedule: 10am - Kiln Fired Up! 11am - 1st Firing 3pm - Final Firing
