A purpose designed slot running between the 2 cells means each cell can have a tailored level or retention, This means: Removing one magazine does not affect the retention of the second No more loose or shifting magazines when running a single mag Eliminates the risk of accidental double extraction under stress Whether the flap is open or closed, each magazine remains positively retained. Designed for Real Use Traditional flap-retained pouches create a compromise—once opened, retention is reduced or in some instances completely removed. The Phantom system eliminates that weakness. If you remove a magazine and don’t immediately secure the flap, the remaining magazine is still fully retained within its CellLock™ insert.
