The energy signature of Building Blocks is built around that moment. You show three cards. All Queen of Hearts, visible, ordinary, unremarkable on their face. But look closer at the backs. There are shapes, abstractions, partial images. Your brain begins working immediately, filling in the blanks, constructing borders & edges, assembling something from almost nothing. Very similar to daily life. You already know what it's doing, it familiar. That's the point. As the performer walks you through the perception experience.. slowly, deliberately something quietly shifts. The intellectual knowledge that this is incomplete begins to lose the argument with what your eyes are telling you. The card that isn't there starts to feel present. Not imagined. Present. Then without warning the illusion becomes a reality. A whole real card, sandwiched exactly where your mind had once only imagined it. Building Blocks creates a rare moment in magic.. the witnessed transformation of belief. You are conscious of the exact moment your perception overrules your knowledge. You feel your brain decide. That experience doesn't reset when the trick is over. It stays with you, because it wasn't about a card. It was about how your mind constructs reality in real time.
