SNCF Poster - Plages du Morbihan

1950s SNCF French National Railroads original vintage poster by Maurice Brianchon. This rare poster features the beautiful beaches of the the Gulf of Morbihan, which is a natural harbour on the coast of southern Brittany in northwest France. There are about 40 islands in the gulf, most of them private, and the area is renowned for its extraordinary range of megolithic monuments. Carnac is the most famous. Popular with sailors, the gulf is full of yachts, pleasure boats, sailing dinghies and other water sports.
