La Reforma - El Salvador
Finca La Reforma delivers a complete coffee: chocolatey, nutty, fruity. Grown on the slopes of the Santa Ana Volcano in the Apaneca Ilamatepec Mountain Range of El Salvador, this Red Bourbon is tended by fourth-generation producer Hermanos Alvarez Diaz under native shade trees for a slower cherry maturation and healthier topsoil. From there, the cherries head to our friends at El Borbollon dry mill, where they're dried on raised beds for two to three weeks before milling and export. The result is clean and chocolatey with a subtle sweetness of strawberry.
