Domaine Lucien Boillot et Fils Gevrey-Chambertin "Les Evocelles" 2023 is a village-level red Burgundy made from 100% Pinot Noir grown on an upper-slope parcel adjacent to several of Gevrey's premier cru sites. The domaine is run by Pierre Boillot, who inherited the estate from his father Lucien and works old vines across both the Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune. Farming follows sustainable principles inspired by organic agriculture, with hand harvesting, native-yeast fermentations, gentle extractions, and aging in French oak barrels with a modest proportion of new wood. The result is a transparent, terroir-driven Pinot Noir with the depth and aging potential often associated with a premier cru.
