This surplus 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition was loaded to NATO specifications by Australian Defense Industries, Australia’s largest defense contractor. This ammunition has been used by troops throughout the world and is known to be clean shooting and accurate. All ammunition is sealed in plastic to prevent corrosion during long term storage. Each heavy duty plastic sheet contains 10 packs of 5 rounds each and come sealed in a M2A1 ammo can. With the double seal offered by the sealed plastic sheets and O-ring sealed ammo can, this ammunition is ready for extended storage. The SS109 projectile features a 62 grain full metal jacket around a lead core with a steel penetrator tip. This standard NATO SS109 bullet is the same as the popular U.S. made M855, only no green paint is applied to the tip. The ammunition is first quality, new production ammunition, loaded in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases with Mil-Spec crimped primers.
