The factory hopup mounting system in the Matrix, AGM, and Cybergun STG44 / MP44 AEGs leaves a lot to be desired. The stock hopup unit is only lightly retained inside the receiver by a thin latch over the gearbox, allowing the chamber to rotate, wobble, and shift during use. The Wyshtech STG44 / MP44 Maxx PRO Hopup Conversion Adapter solves that problem while also allowing installation of a Maxx Model PRO hopup unit. This adapter provides a far more solid mounting solution, helping stabilize the hopup chamber inside the receiver for improved alignment and consistency.
