Bachelet Monnot, Bourgogne Blanc 2023

This Bourgogne Blanc is tremendously representative of the Puligny style (where most of the fruit is from, with a smaller proportion from Chassagne) and of the Bachelet brothers' trademark fruit and mineral-forward winemaking. Fresh and vibrant yellow orchard fruit gives way to focused, linear minerality and chalky, citrus rind pithiness. It is superbly composed and refined, and very sophisticated for a Bourgogne Blanc at this price level.
