GERMAN WWI HESSE INFANTRY REGT EARLY PATTERN ENLISTED MAN PICKELHAUBE

A 1900 period slightly taller leather Pickelhaube for a Hesse infantryman. Both front and rear peaks are securely attached to the main body, good, hard leather without any abrasions or creases. All the brass fittings match in colour and consistency, both the cockades of the non-serrated style, with their early style chinstrap. To the interior, the 11-tongued liner with its original drawstring is all complete. Ref; 96470
