I created the Sherwood as part of my Hand-Dyed Collection — a small batch of straps personally dyed in my workshop, one bath at a time. This deep forest green carries a quiet, vintage character: rich and grounded, with subtle natural variation that only hand-dyeing can deliver. It pairs beautifully with field watches, vintage divers, and bronze cases, but it also adds an unexpected, organic depth to modern sport watches with black, white, or champagne dials. If you want a green that feels lived-in rather than loud, this is the one. Hand-Dyed in Small Batches Each Sherwood strap is dyed by hand, in batches that rarely exceed 20-30 pieces. I mix the dye, heat the bath, and watch the color slowly settle into the nylon — which means no two batches are ever exactly the same. Slight variations in tone are part of the process, and part of what makes each Sherwood genuinely one-of-a-kind. Once a batch sells out, the next one will look close, but never identical. Built on a Proven Foundation The Sherwood is built on the same premium seatbelt-style nylon and stitched hardware I use across the rest of my collection. The dyeing adds character on top of that foundation, not in place of it. Inspired by the durability standards of the 1973 British Ministry of Defence specifications, but reworked into a refined, everyday-luxury strap — without the stiffness of traditional military gear. Made by Me, in the EU I don't outsource a single step. Every strap is dyed, cut, finished, and stitched in my Hungarian workshop. That's how I keep control over every detail — from the color of the dye bath to the exact placement of each stitch.
