Over the 8 years, we have had the privilege of watching many of you grow through different chapters of life: from fresh graduates to senior management; from dating to becoming parents; from parents with young kids to parents with adult kids, from parents to grandparents. We are honored to have been a little part of your life journey and celebrations. It has been a pleasure brewing for you during the good and not so good times. Your Pink Blossoms Brewer has similarly aged over the years. Compared to 8 years ago, he now has more white hair, more broken (body) parts, more stress and a higher-than-ever reading on the cranky-meter. Thank you for being a friend and for understanding why I do the things I do. Although I have trade in quite a bit to continue doing this, the friendship, care and kindness I have received from you over the years make everything worth it. We are now brewing in an awkward environment where global beer consumption is at a 20-year low. Instead of being defeated by macros we cannot change, we continue to brew and continue to try new ways to stay relevant with times. We also hope you can continue to support our craft by drinking in moderation. Pink Blossoms Day is a reminder of how amazing beers can be and we hope this year will similarly delight you and your guests. This year, we will be holding Pink Blossoms Day at a sheltered atrium, very assessable to everyone, with lots of food options all around. Most of you loved the venue last year. However, the rent was extremely expensive relative to our guest size. Despite our efforts to subsidize the costs through various means, the rent was simply not economically viable for our party size. So back to fundamentals: we are spending less on venue costs and channeling our budget to better ingredients and more time to create better brews for you. What started out 8 years ago as a casual invitation to try some of our special brews has now become an annual tradition. Finding a suitable venue remains one of the biggest challenge in holding this celebration. We are just too small to occupy an entire convention hall and are too large for small event spaces. Every year I return with the same plea: please share with me if you know a better event space we can use for the next PB Day. PB Day 2026 is a closed-door private event. Only ticketed guests will be admitted. There will be no sale of tickets at the door. Once the tickets are sold out, they are really sold out because we are unable to accommodate more guests at the venue. We are limiting the event to 500 guests this year. Ubi will be closed on Pink Blossoms Day and on the day after. The BeerTrucks will be running on the day after PB Day. However, based on consumption trends over the past years, many of the special beers will run out on PB day and will not be available at Ubi after. For many of you, this is not your first Pink Blossoms Day. For others, this could be your first. Regardless, I hope you could take some time to read through below because we are always trying to improve with each successive Pink Blossoms Day. BACKGROUND OF PINK BLOSSOMS DAY We have always been stubborn and stuck to things which are true to our values and beliefs. We started Pink Blossoms to brew tasty beers and to share the beers with love with our community. Some of these beers are so rich or high in alcohol that we will not be able to sell them to the masses or move them quickly. Others are loaded decadently with expensive ingredients which makes pricing them at the average beer prices not economically viable. Now, with a few years of brewing history, we also have aged beers, which can only be released with the passage of time. What all these beers share in common is they are expensive to brew and do not make much profits for the brewery after accounting for the costs involved. We continue to brew them anyway because our love for tasty beers supersedes profit-making. Although brewing these special beers is the primary reason why we started the Brewery, we cannot have all these special beers take up all our limited tap space or our limited cold room space all the time. We will not have enough working space for beers which keep the Brewery lights on and will not be able to feed the families of our dedicated team. Pink Blossoms Day is an occasion to thank our community and friends by sharing the special beers we love the most with them. When a large number of you gather to celebrate a common cause (i.e. the love for tasty beers), it is also the best time we could serve all these special beers and finish them quickly in one sitting. This allows us to quickly free up limited tap space and cold room space. It also allows us to price these special beers affordable for most while being financially responsible to those who depend on the Brewery to feed their families. Pink Blossoms Day achieves many things for us on the same occasion. It not only balances our love for the craft with economic reality, but also allows us to share our love for the craft with the community and friends who appreciate it the most. It’s the occasion we look forward the most to every year. BEERS Pink Blossoms Brewing was founded to share the beers we enjoy with our community. Variety 18 to 24 different beers in one sitting! The main highlight for Pink Blossoms Day has always been the special beers and the wide variety available in one sitting. Some of these beers are only brewed for and served on Pink Blossoms Day. We will be running 16 taps that night. We have planned up to 24 different beers in the potential line-up. Looking to serve at least 10 beers which are not normally tapped at Ubi. Depending on our progress for the night, and whether the general crowd is still sober, we may release more than 16 different beers that night. As with 2026, we now have a new Decadent-Pours Station. Servings at this station will be limited and not free-flow, because these beers not only require lots of effort but also cost us a bomb to produce. This is what you could expect in the line-up and back up for the evening: · Our most popular classics and seasonals · A few Double, Triple and Quadruple IPAs · Imperial Sour · Fruited sour · Aged Belgian Quadrupel · Aged Barley Wine · Several aged Imperial Stouts, aged with oak and bourbon / whiskey · Imperial Farmhouse · Imperial Smoothie · Lambic, now after 4 years of maturation and conditioning. · One new light beer Pace yourself. Drink more water. Casualty rate in 2025 was lower than 2024, we hope to keep up the good trend. Glass vs Plastics We would love to serve our (special) beers in our Teku Glass. However, after hosting many external events over the years, the Police has made it very clear that only plastics cups will be permitted for events. Serving size. Too many choices and too many heavy beers. To allow everyone to try more special beers (or up to 24 different beers in one sitting) and not get too wasted, our standard serving size for most beers will be 5.5oz. Feel free to ask for a smaller size if you are unsure of a certain style. Feel free to go for additional helpings if you really enjoy a particular beer. To reduce casualty rate, we will be pouring some of the heavier beers in servings smaller than 5.5oz. Come back for more if you are still sober. Wastages Please do not waste our hard work. On PB day 2023, we saw at least 20 liters of special beers went down the drain. Many of which were left on the table untouched. As I was clearing up the beer hall in 2023, I had to drink many of these untouched cups because it was simply too painful to pour them away. Please do not break my heart again this year. Even though we are not charging you based on the number of drinks you take, please do not hoard or take more than what you can consume. There are plenty of beers to go around, including the special beers. The beers will not be as tasty if they are left in the open and subject to oxidation. Please do not chug on PB Day, do it at Oktoberfest. Many of the special beers served on Pink Blossoms Day are meant for sipping. If you are unsure of a particular beer, ask for a smaller serving or share with a friend before committing to more. Two Drinks per trip Please observe this rule strictly. This practice has helped keep queue times manageable over the past years. Please adhere to this and everyone will have shorter queue times. If anyone takes more than two drinks at each go, it not only increases spillage and wastage, but also holds up the line for everyone. Eventually it will snowball to a situation where people complain about long waiting time and nobody would then adhere to the two-drinks rule. This is a positive feedback loop of disaster. EARLY BIRD Tickets costs $99.9 each and will increase to $119.9 on 1 July 2026. Please purchase your tickets early. This is the best valued beer event in Singapore. Not only do you get to drink to your heart’s content, you get to taste a spread of 18 to 24 beers with more than half of them being high ABV beers, aged beers or highly artisanal beers. We have always urged guests not to measure the value of this event by the volume they can drink but by the spread of beers they get to sample and by the highly artisanal beers offered. You should not be getting to drink these beers to your hearts’ content at such a price. We are subsidizing this at the expense of our bottom line because Pink Blossoms Day is a day we thank you for your support over the years and for keeping our brewery and craft alive. VENUE Venue this year is in a sheltered atrium space with giant ceiling fans and air coolers. Although many of us loved the venue last year, we are unable to subsidise the rent even with the various initiatives we came up with. FAST PASS Up to 50 fast passes are available for purchase. If you do not want to wait for your beers, please make use of the fast pass. Only individuals with fast passes may enter the express line. The fast passes are non-transferable and are tagged to specific individuals. Each fast pass entitles the holder to obtain 30 drinks (i.e 15 trips) through the express line. More than sufficient buffer for the holder to try every single drink and be crawling home after. The 2 drinks per trip rule applies similarly to Fast Pass holders. Please come back for more after you finish. T SHIRT Please support the event by purchasing a limited edition PB Day 2026 T-shirt. T-shirt sales will help us subsidise the costs of running PB Day. Guests attending PB day wearing the PB Day 2026 T-shirt will receive an extra token which could be used at the Decadent Beer Station for an extra serving. CHAIRS & TABLES This item is important enough to get a section of its own. Over the years, we have purchased many sets of tables and benches. We now have sufficient tables and benches to seat at least 500 pax. Each set of table and bench should seat at least 6 pax. Seating is communal, please do not hoard seats. Kindly share your table with others if your party size is smaller than 6. Beer brings people together. It is the intent of this celebration for people who enjoy good beers to come together and we hope you will make new friends with common interests on this occasion. OPERATING HOURS Rope Drop at 4pm. (please note: we are starting earlier this year compare to past years) Taps will close at 9pm sharp. The party must end at 10pm sharp this year. This is due to police licensing. Since we are ending a bit earlier this year, you could adjourn for round two (plenty of options in the area) or rally the new friends you just met at the celebrations for supper (plenty of options in the area too). FOOD This year, the celebrations will be held in an area with plenty of food options nearby. Please support our friends and purchase food from our official food partners (details to be provided in the confirmation email) You may also pack food from one of the nearby food options before entering the event. Bringing back a prophecy from past years: Please BYO food as what you would normally do to Ubi. You could still order food delivery services and send them to the event space. However, please expect that there may be a lack of delivery drivers if all our guests choose to order at the same time. Also, drivers may get confused on who to deliver the food to if multiple guests order from the same restaurant around the same time. SAFETY We have a zero-tolerance policy towards rowdy behavior, harassment or bullying. Please just drink and be happy. If you are not happy with anyone or anything, just walk away. Please do not pick a verbal or physical fight with anyone: including other guests, our crew or service providers. If you are subject to any form of rowdy behavior / harassment / bullying, please approach security or our crew for help. We are empowering the security team to cut the wrist tags of badly behaved guests. Their call is final. No appeals. If you are caught in such a situation, you will also walk away with a lifetime ban from Pink Blossoms Day. Must end the letter on a positive note 😊.
