The Point Pod Connect Silver Motorized Pop Up Outlet The PPC815PD is a premium retractable power solution designed for modern conference rooms, luxury kitchens, and high-end commercial interiors. Its unique motorized lift system activates with a simple press of the surface, raising silently from the table surface and retracting back down to remain hidden when not in use. Engineered for wet-location installation, the unit features a waterproof spill rating compliant with the 2014 NEC code 406.5E, ensuring safe use in areas where spills are common, such as kitchen islands, bars, and hospitality environments. Custom Top Pop Up Outlet What makes the Point Pod Connect stand out is its customizable top insert. Installers can cut a disc from the table surface material, which includes stone, wood, laminate, or solid surface, and mount it into the outlet top so it blends flush with the surrounding finish. When closed, the outlet virtually disappears into the table surface or countertop. The installer will need to cut out a 4" outside diameter hole size, while the inner disc that will be installed in the cup needs to be 3 11/16". This disc can have a thickness between 1" and 1.25". This is typically done with a hole saw or a water jet. That disc that is cut is then installed in the silver cup, the cup ring is only .05" thick and barely noticeable. Motorized Up and Down with a Press of the Top There are no buttons to push, simply press the top surface and the unit pops up. Press the top again, and the unit retracts back down and hidden. The electric motor is quiet and smooth offering elegant and functional operation. There are two 15A power plugs, and two 65W USB-C ports. Each USB-C port is rated for 65W, however, if both ports are being used simultaneously, each port is limited to 30W. The USB-C ports are compatible to PD 3.0, QC 3.0, BC.12, Apple 2.4A, Samsung 2.0A / AFC, and Huawei FCP (Fast Charging Protocol).
