Ro Vase

The Ro Vase was designed to make displaying and arranging flowers more intuitive, creative and fun, whether for many flowers or just a few. An homage to designer Shiro Kuramata’s famed minimalist bookshelf for Cappellini, the vase follows the same gradated grid pattern, allowing users to place stems as you would arrange books in a bookshelf, knowing they will stay put. The compartments can also serve as organizational dividers for pens, office supplies or makeup brushes. Part of an ongoing exploration of how we can design vases that encourage and shape the art of floral design for the everyday user, in the Ro Vase mundane, oft hidden elements such as stems and water level become compositional gems.
