Tecnite 3402-C LF Spray - dry film lubricant, air-cured coating

Tecnite 3402-C - Anti-Friction Coating Spray Dry lubricant coating, combining the benefits of corrosion protection and lubrication. This product is based on Molykote® 3402 C anti-friction coating – available in a 400mL aerosol – for better distribution. Used for sliding metal-on-metal contact combinations at slow to moderately fast movements and high loads. Successfully used in automotive applications such as pins, springs, and bearing surfaces in brakes; hinges and body mechanisms; moving parts in locks, switches, ventilation controls and servo mechanisms; under-the-hood connections exposed to dust, moisture, fuels, oils and other contaminants; hinge pins, sleeve bearings and shafts; servo mechanism and instrument bearings; threaded connections and fasteners. Reduces friction and prevents damage to O-rings during flange assembly. Sandblasting will increase the adhesion and durability of the coating, so it is recommended. Shake well before each use – at least 3–5 minutes. The spraying distance should be approximately 15–20 cm from the surface you want to coat. The recommended dry film thickness is 15–30 µm. With the proper thickness applied, the curing time is 180 minutes at +20°C. Shelf life and storage Shelf life information: Tecnite 3402-C anti-friction coating can be stored for 36 months in its original, unopened packaging. The product should be stored in a dry, cool place at temperatures from 0°C to +23°C.
