Tillandsia variabilis

This plant species, originating from Mexico, Bolivia, and Costa Rica, features medium-length inflorescences with red bracts and purple flowers. It thrives outdoors and in pots, requiring strong indirect or filtered light and being watered twice a week, allowing the soil to dry in between.

• This species prefers to grow potted and in strong filtered light will produce a beautiful red hue in the leaves year round.
