Laurel Large Plate - White

A laurel motif is formed around the rim with the traditional "Shinogi" technique, which delicately scrapes the surface using a spatula or plane. The hand-carved laurel leaves by a skilled potter make this plate stand out. With the unique details and delicacy of Shinogi, this plate brings out the warmth and texture of the clay. Handcrafted by Yuzangama, the second generation of Shotoen in the Toki city, Gifu prefecture, Japan. Please note that small pinholes or natural freckles may appear on the surface. These are a result of the firing process and are a characteristic of handcrafted ceramics, adding to the individuality of each piece.
