( Pre Owned ) 61344 3.95kg The 2011 Gibson Custom Shop 1956 Les Paul Reissue (R6) VOS is a faithful recreation of the classic '56 Goldtop. It features a solid mahogany body, a maple top with an Antique Gold VOS (Vintage Original Sheen) finish, dual P-90 pickups, and a chunky '50s neck profile This example comes to us in very good condition with some small dents and marks as you would expect on a guitar of it's age... Please check photos. Key Specifications Body: Solid, non-chambered mahogany back with a carved plain maple top. Finish: Antique Gold with VOS treatment (nitrocellulose lacquer with a gentle, aged patina on the finish and hardware). Neck: Solid mahogany with a long neck tenon (hide-glued). Neck Profile: Chunky, rounded '50s shape (often feels like a substantial, deep C-shape). Fingerboard: One-piece Indian rosewood with a 12-inch radius, traditional cream binding, and aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays. Frets: 22 historic Gibson narrow/tall frets.
