There’s a waxy, slightly dusty quality that feels reassuringly traditional, quickly lifted by dried apricot and fragrant honeysuckle. Then it deepens: toffee apples and pecan pie richness, rum & raisin cake, even a handful of cinnamon jelly beans (thanks ‘A’ for this note!).
