BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! MEETS ... Ryan Sampson Ryan is the creator and writer of the BAFTA-winning Sky Original series Mr Bigstuff, which he also stars in alongside Danny Dyer who received the BAFTA for Best Male Performance in a Comedy last year. Series 1 of Mr Bigstuff was a huge hit with audiences, becoming Sky Max’s highest-rated new original comedy in three years. Both series have launched on Hulu in the US whilst a third has just been commissioned. Audiences will also know Ryan from Netflix’s The Crown and from his leading roles in the award-winning longstanding comedy hits Brassic and Plebs, both of which have recently enjoyed a huge resurgence since hitting Netflix last year, with Brassic featuring in the Top 10 most-watched shows for 3 months. Both series are also available in the US via Hulu. Ryan is currently starring in the brand new primetime BBC One drama The Other Bennet Sister, based on Janice Hadlow’s acclaimed novel. The new drama brings Mary Bennet - the oft-overlooked middle sister in Pride and Prejudice - into the spotlight, with Ryan starring as Mr Collins, a potential suitor to Mary Bennet.
