Richard Hornby, Mid Century Teak Bureau

A bureau by Richard Hornby, crafted in teak and featuring a practical and compact design. The fall-front opens to reveal a writing surface, along with internal filing pockets and two small drawers, making it an ideal piece for use as a writing desk or home office storage.The bureau is in very good vintage condition overall. The timber has faded slightly from its original colour over time, giving it a lighter appearance. There are a couple of minor scuffs to the right-hand side, while the internal drawers are a little stiff in operation. The bureau retains its original lock, although no key is present.
