2024 Gewcci

Gewcci is our small-batch, single-varietal expression of Gewürztraminer — aromatic, textured, and quietly luxurious. Made from 100% Gewürztraminer, the fruit was hand harvested and pressed whole cluster before being fermented and aged in neutral French oak puncheons for 18 months. Time in large-format oak allowed the wine to build texture and depth without overt oak character, preserving the natural perfume and generosity of the variety while adding a more layered, savoury frame. The result is dry, luscious, and deeply textural, with Gewürztraminer’s unmistakable aromatics carried by a broad, polished palate. Bottled without fining, Gewcci is a wine of patience and personality — expressive, small in production, and unmistakably Rosewood. Label art by Matthew Langille.
