Snozzberry. Roasted, tasted, and consumed by us. “WE are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams” - Willy Wonka (1971) The roaster for the coffee shop next door often brings coffee samples to our workroom for our opinion – he says we've got the best palettes in the building (the roaster also happens to be our own production manager, but we digress). We are lovers of craft, whether it be bike packs, music, movies, food, small engines, cocktails, and yes…coffee. We are fueled by it, and we drink our fill. So it only seemed fitting that we share what we are drinking, what fuels us, what inspires us to design and sew your packs. This is our inaugural offering. This coffee is from Java. It’s roasted light, but don’t worry! Whereas many light coffees have a bright acidity, this one has depth but is fruity. It doesn’t matter what roast level you generally veer towards - we think you’ll like this one. It’s a natural process. What does that mean? Coffee beans are the seeds to a cherry, and a variety of methods have been developed to remove that seed from the fruit. A natural process is the oldest known method: 1. Pick the cherry at its ripest point, 2. Let it sit in the sun and dry out, 3. Crack the fruit off the seed. It’s simple, but so many things can go wrong, so when you taste a good natural process coffee, it’s like falling into a dream world, where the rivers are chocolate, you drink nectar from flowers, and the trees drop handfuls of sweet treats for you to gobble up.
