Add 1 rounded teaspoon (or 1 Bodum scoop) of coarsely ground coffee per 4 oz of water. Pour hot water (92–96°C) leaving at least 2.5 cm / 1" at the top. Stir with a plastic or wooden spoon. Set the plunger on top and turn the lid to close the pour spout to retain heat. Brew for 4 minutes, then slowly depress the plunger. Open the spout and pour.
