This new 12" Roscoe is Pisgah Banjo Co.'s most affordable model, packing classic tone among its humble appointments. Featuring a simple walnut rim and tone ring along with traditional dowel stick construction, the tone evokes a warm, old-time sound reminiscent of vintage banjos from a bygone era, yet retains a good plunk on the attack. The aged brass hardware contributes to the vibe giving this banjo lots of old character. The cherry neck feels great in the hands giving smooth movement up and down the neck. A banjo with a warm, full sound radiating vintage character at an extremely great price for an American-made instrument.
