(Special processing) From the 1930s to the late 1960s, direct dyes and sulfur dyes were mainly used for sweatshirts. The principle of fading in vintage clothing is thought to be a process where oxygen in the air and the amino acids holding the dye undergo oxidative coupling and hydrolysis, turning into carbon and decaying. REMI RELIEF's SP processing reproduces this natural principle by using traditional direct dyes combined with oxygen to slowly fade the dye over a long period of time.
