Committed to Care

What does the Bible say about abuse? Is the Bible even sufficient to deal with abuse cases? As biblical counselors, how do we minister to those who have been abused and to their abusers? The Committed to Care Statement and Guidelines are ACBC’s answers to these questions and more. The Affirmation and Denials are what we have found the Bible to say about abuse while the Framework and Guidelines are how we ought to deal with abuse in the church and in the counseling room. Our hope is that the statement and guidelines are immensely practical for churches and biblical counselors.
