Tablet Webinar: Women, Mystics, Poets

Join Cathy Galvin—poet, journalist, and Tablet board member—in conversation with Professor Emma Mason (University of Warwick)for an engaging exploration of women mystics. While the tradition often evokes medieval figures such as Hildegard of Bingen and Julian of Norwich, this webinar turns to the twentieth century, highlighting writers including Edith Stein, Raïssa Maritain, and Caryll Houselander. By close reading of their poetry we will explore their relationship to the Catholic Church of the early twentieth century.
