Maisie Vs the Pyramids

The Dr Tariq who meets Maisie and her father at Cairo airport is not who they’re expecting, though Dad seems to follow him unquestioningly. In fact, it’s not long before Dad’s driving them across the desert, though they were supposed to be heading to their hotel? Where are they going? Does Dr Tariq know the way? Then again, why wasn’t he expecting Maisie? Maisie knows her father isn’t as boring as she once thought. What’s more, she knows that they have a secret that must never be shared. In fact, Maisie’s father encourages her to avoid this secret. However what if there’s another revealing itself through this project? While Maisie’s father was supposed to be researching codes for his new book, suddenly, they’re involved in a dangerous race to find a hidden Ancient Egyptian tomb. What is going on? Then again, who is Fake George MacLeod? We love the humour, wild adventure, geography, history and incident. The shape and appearance of this series is fabulous too.
