Simply keep the salt level above the water level – ideally about two-thirds full. For most households, checking the salt level every 2–4 months is usually sufficient. Important: Do not allow the salt to run out completely. Insufficient salt may interrupt the regeneration process and reduce the softening efficiency of the system. Vacation mode helps protect the resin when the system is not in use for an extended period, such as during holidays or long absences.
