The Standard, Reset — The 2026 Supercross ENVY RS7 24" Cruiser For over a decade the ENVY RS7 has set the bar for what a 7005 aluminum BMX race frame should be. Eight Bike of the Year wins. World Championship podiums. National Number One titles across every class. We rode 7005 because it was the best alloy available. It isn’t anymore. For 2026, the RS7 is built from double heat-treated 6069-T4/T6 aluminum. It takes ~30% more force to bend, ~17% more force to break, holds its strength right through the welds (which 7005 can’t), and runs longer under fatigue. Same world-championship-winning geometry. Better metal. Better bike. What’s New for 2026 Double heat-treated 6069-T4/T6 aluminum. The 6xxx alloy family responds to the full T-6 process — solution heat treatment, liquid quench, artificial aging — which restores maximum strength right through the weld zones after the frame is built. 7005 can’t do that. The 6069 recipe also runs Vanadium as a grain refiner, which makes the metal stronger, tougher, and more workable at the same time. Higher yield. Longer fatigue life. Safer failure mode when things go sideways. T47 bottom bracket on Pro 24 and larger sizes. The same T47 setup we run on the Vision F1 and Vision F1x carbon flagships. Larger bearing surface, full thread engagement, no creak. Every watt of your gate start goes to the rear wheel. Removable V-brake mounts plus a welded-on disc tab. Every size, Mini 24 through Pro XXL 24. Run a V-brake. Run a disc. Switch when you want. Disc tab is welded in. V-brake mounts bolt on and off. Traditional axle and chain tensioner stay where they belong — the way most BMXers still want them set up. Same world-championship-winning geometry. The geometry that has put riders on the top step at every level is unchanged. The metal got better. The fit stays the same. Launch Colors The 2026 RS7 Cruiser launches in six colors: Jet Black · Gloss White · Hi Vis Yellow · Metallic Grey · Metallic Teal · Sparkle Pink Heads up: Photos for Sparkle Pink and Jet Black are coming — physical samples land any day. Both colorways are confirmed for the launch and you can reserve yours below. We’ll drop the photos in the moment we have them. Lighter. Stronger. Tougher. Here’s the lab data on the alloys, side by side: The Test 6069-T6 7005-T6 Yield (force to bend) ~380–414 MPa ~290 MPa Tensile (force to break) ~410–448 MPa ~350 MPa Fatigue life Excellent Moderate Fracture toughness Bends before breaking More likely to crack Weld-zone strength after T-6 Full liquid quench Air quench only Geometry The full cruiser size run, Mini 24 through Pro XXL 24. Same world-championship geometry as the previous RS7 cruiser. Pro 24 and larger get the new T47 bottom bracket. All sizes get removable V-brake mounts and a welded-on disc tab. Measurements are based on a Supercross fork and an equal front/rear tire combination (e.g. 24x1.75 front and rear). Specifications subject to change without notice. A note on the Mini 24: The Mini 24 runs slightly slacker seat and head tube angles than the Junior 24 on purpose. With a short top tube paired to a 24-inch front wheel, those angles give a child’s foot proper clearance from the front wheel when the bars are turned. It’s a small detail that makes a real difference for the kid riding it. All weights are measured on a UPS-calibrated scale. Weights vary depending on the amount of powdercoat applied and the amount of filler rod used on a specific frame. Polished and anodized frames are the lightest because there is no paint. Weights and specifications are subject to change without notice. More Information The advances in materials and processes that have built Supercross’s reputation as the technology leader in BMX racing don’t happen by accident. They come from a rigorous, expensive, multi-year R&D program that runs in our own lab and on the track. We use specially fabricated test fixtures and robotic load cycles to test every frame we make — and the best frames offered by our competitors — against the same set of standards. Stiffness, fatigue, weld-zone strength, impact resistance. The numbers tell us where to focus. From there we develop new concepts, build prototypes, and put them under our pro and amateur riders at the gate. Real gate starts. Real berms. Real landings. The 2026 RS7 came out of that process. New alloy. New BB. New brake-mount system. Same geometry that has been winning races for years — because that part is already right. Pro-sized and larger frames feature the new T47 bottom bracket and 15mm dropouts (10mm adapters included). Smaller frames (Expert XL 24 and down) use a 22.2mm seat post, traditional EuroBB shell, and 10mm dropouts. Every frame, Mini 24 through Pro XXL 24, ships with the removable V-brake mounts and the welded-on disc tab. How to Get Yours First Pick your color above. Click Notify Me When Available.
