J.A. Sloan custom tenor banjo in excellent condition, currently set up for Irish (GDAE) tuning. Formerly J.A. Sloan & Son, J.A. Sloan is a small boutique company based out of Texas making high-quality, handcrafted instruments. While the company is most famously known in the acoustic world as the "Home of the Folding Banjo" (such as their innovative "Jo2Go" travel models), they also build a highly regarded line of solid-neck, traditional 4-string and 5-string banjos. We don't have much information on this beautiful tenor banjo as it was a custom job. But what we do know is that it is loud and resonant and clear.
