Apple wood. It's very rare, since I can never find any branches. This mill was made from a branch a friend brought to me from up north. It's stunning and has tons of character. This is a very rustic 23 cm / 9-in Cottage Mill® in rare Ironwood, with a cut off and healed branch nub. All my mills have an adjustable ceramic CrushGrind® mechanism, with a 25 year guarantee.
