High quality reprint of Igaguri Maroon by Tachibana Morikuni (橘守国, 1679–1748) it is a drawing of a chestnut. Morikuni was an Osaka-based Kanō-school painter and highly prolific illustrator of woodblock-printed books during the Edo period. Ritsumeikan University and the British Museum catalogue the original work to 1729. Printed on 250gsm eco sustainable poster paper. A very cool print which will look great on any wall. !
