NEW! Original mixed media painting/High Cliffs, Westray

An original painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue. This picture of the cliffs at Noup head in Westray was painted on location in July. I have used a mixture of an Indigo drawing stick and watercolour paint to create this image. It was wonderful to sit all alone for a couple of hours painting surrounded by the colony of gannets which nest on the high cliffs. I can hear the sound of the birds and the sea when I look at this painting, not forgetting the smell! The overall framed and glazed size of this painting is 550X320mm. The image is 390X150mm and is mounted with a 50mm ivory mount. The light grey wood frame is 28mm wide and 25mm deep and the picture comes ready to hang on your wall with fitted cord and d-rings.
