Bing (for Bassett-Lowke) ‘George the Fifth’ O Gauge Clockwork Locomotive

Gauge "O" "George the Fifth" Locomotive and six-wheeled tender, numbered 2663. Mdae by Bing, Nuremberg, Germany, for sale in Great Britain by Bassett-Lowke. This model was available as early as 1912 and was made into the 1920s. In original, true-to-prototype black livery of the L&NWR. This particular example is operated using a key and clockwork (although no key is included). The model does have some age-related patina as well as some damage to the chimney (where it appears to have at some stage been dropped). Otherwise, it is an attractive model which makes for a fantastic display piece. Any questions feel free to ask.
