The Evening and the Morning, Part I Songs of Creation 22 × 28 | Original Framed Artwork Created as part of my Songs of Creation collection, The Evening and the Morning, Part I is one of only a few paintings remaining from an earlier season of my work. Much of this collection was painted at my grandma's dining room table. I would paint for hours while she watched, told me stories about her life, and occasionally fussed when I decided a painting needed just one more thing. This was one of two paintings she apparently decided needed nothing else. One morning, I found a note she had left beside it telling me not to touch it...it was finished. I've kept it all these years. Now, as my work continues to grow and change, I'm offering these remaining pieces from Songs of Creation for a short time in their original form. If they do not find homes, I may pick up my brush and allow them to become part of something new.
