Here is a Jersey pattern axe from Oakland, Maine's Emerson & Stevens. Nicely stamped with E&S MFG CO, the 3 1/4 weight and temperer Perley Pulsifer's initial. Great for adding to your Oakland axe collection or putting back into service. Comes with a nice veg-tanned mask that will age to a nice brown patina. Because this is a special axe, we also took extra time to cross wedge it with black walnut.
