Art Noise Adventures: Plein Air at Butternut Creek Flower Farm

Join us for our first plein air adventure event at Butternut Creek Flower Farm! Participants will gather at Butternut Creek Flower Farm as a group and start their adventure with their floral facilitator, Tori, who will provide plein air easels or boards, basic tips and tricks to enjoying painting outside and support throughout the day. Choose your spot among the flowers to work, then stop for fresh wood oven pizza made fresh on-site by Butternut Creek and a cold drink! Afterwards, participants will be encouraged to gather together to show off their day’s work and participate in a supportive peer-to-peer conversation. Participants can choose between bringing their own preferred materials, or can purchase either a watercolour kit or acrylic paint kit for an additional fee (see full kit details below). All participants are asked to bring their own small sealable water container (if using paints) and any additional materials they may like. If using oils, please make sure to bring sealed containers for any oils or solvents you bring. Please note that this is not an instructed workshop. Tori will be on site to guide your adventure and offer advice as a floral painter, but will not be providing any step-by-step instruction. Art Noise will be watching the weather forecast up to the day of the workshop. If there is bad enough weather that we will not be able to create safely, we will make the decision to cancel the day before the workshop, and an alternative rain date will be scheduled. If you are unable to make the proposed rain date, then a refund will be issued.
