Tarni is a young Djab Wurrung, Kirrae Wurrung and Peek Wurrung artist and designer. Living in Ballarat and the neice of Heidi Her sporting collaborations include: Designing Collingwood’s 2023 AFL Indigenous guernsey. Designing the Western Bulldogs’ 2024 Indigenous guernseys, worn by its AFL, AFLW, VFL and VFLW teams. Creating First Nations dresses for the Melbourne Vixens netball team. It appears to be women’s netball rather than basketball. Tarni’s artwork is strongly connected to Country, community, waterways and storytelling. She also works in Treaty engagement, supporting First Peoples across Victoria’s South West and North West regions. We create Boutique Handkerchiefs, each is hand made in limited quantity.
