Marabino, Rosso di Contrada 2020
This biodynamic Sicilian Nero d'Avola is juicy and fresh, with a smacking sour red cherry and cranberry profile, and despite it now being nearly six years old, that youthful fresh profile hasn't diminished in the slightest. Some cured meat and peppery herbs add interest, and the palate has a fruity textural softness despite some confident tannins and is livened by the fresh acidity. Very approachable, very delicious.
