Antipodes Sweater - Sundays, Sept 27, Oct 4, & Oct 18, 12-2pm

Join us as we work together to knit Andrea Mowry's popular new sweater design, Antipodes. With so many techniques combined in one project this is sure to be your next favorite knit! In this class we will cover a wide range of techniques including: provisional cast on, striping, increasing and decreasing, picking up stitches, german short rows and alternatives, stranded colorwork, slipped stitches, backwards loop cast-on, and tubular bind-off. From the designer: This sweater is worked from the top down, seamlessly. We begin with the saddle shoulder, then pick up stitches for the back and fronts separately. Once the yoke is completed, we will join to work the body in the round. The sleeve stitches are picked up from the armhole openings and worked in the round. Cost: $85 for three, 2-hour sessions Location: This is an in-person class held at Knotty Lamb Required Skills: Intermediate to advanced knitter. The unique construction and variety of techniques used in this design would not be suitable for beginners. PATTERN Pattern is not included in class price. (Use the needle size you need to achieve and maintain gauge, going down two US sizes for the ribbing.)
