A glass scent bottle with decorative gilt metal lid and protective base collar. The glass has a marbled effect imitating carnelian and has faceted sides. It has a screw on lid lined in white metal -presumably to strengthen the gilt base metal and to create a better seal. A late 19th century early 20th century type of art glass c1890 carrying on the tradition of 1820s Lithyalin. 7.5cm high In good condition. Stock no. LS41
